Collection pages

Collection pages are curated product-listing pages, each at its own URL — distinct from the automatic category pages (which come from Categories). A collection chooses its products from a source, and you can merchandise, filter, and sort them.

Create a collection

  1. Choose + New, give it a Title and Slug.
  2. In the builder (a section list on the left, live preview in the center), work through the sections:
    • Content — the page Title and Slug.
    • Products — pick the Product source: Best sellers, New arrivals, On sale, Category (overrides that category’s automatic page), Tag, Search query, Manual (you pick the products), or an advanced custom query. Fill the field the source needs (e.g. the category, tag, or your manual product list), set Max products, the source sort, and whether to hide out-of-stock products.
    • Merchandising — pin products to positions, boost, or hide them on top of the source order.
    • Filters & Sort — which facets show, the default sort, and items per page (blank inherits your Shop settings).
    • Empty state — what shows when the source returns no products.
    • SEO — meta title, description, canonical, and index settings.
  3. Save draft, then Publish (same revision workflow as pages).

The page’s hero isn’t edited in this builder yet — it opens in the standard form view. The advanced source options (custom query and ID-matching) are for power users; most collections just pick a source and go.
