Customers

Customers

People who bought or signed up at your brand. Accounts are per brand — the list only ever shows your own brand’s customers, never another brand’s.

Open it: in the admin sidebar, choose Customers.

The list

Five tiles summarize your customer base — Customers (with new in the last 30 days), Repeat rate, Average spend, At risk (two or more orders but nothing in 90+ days), and Can be emailed (subscribed to marketing).

Segment tabs filter the list: All, Subscribed, Repeat buyers, At risk, Top spenders.

Use the search box (name, email, phone) and the Sort dropdown (Most spent, Most recent order, Newest customers, Name A–Z).

Columns: Customer, Location, Orders, Total spent, Last order, Account (Verified / Unverified / Guest), and Email marketing (Subscribed / Not subscribed).

Customers appear here after their first order or when they create an account on your store.

Open a customer

Click a row to open the customer. You’ll see:

  • Lifetime spend at the top.
  • Contact — email, phone, address.
  • Recent orders — a table of their orders; click one to open the order page.

Use Export to download the list as a CSV.

Good to know

  • This view is read-only. There’s no “new customer” button and no edit form in the admin — customers are created when someone places an order or signs up. To correct a customer’s details, edit them in the commerce backend.
  • No wishlist here. A shopper’s wishlist is a storefront feature, not per-customer data shown in this admin.
  • Shopper accounts are separate from staff accounts. A shopper signs in only to your storefront, never to the admin or the commerce backend, and their account belongs to this brand alone — the same email at a different brand is a separate account.

Looking for your marketing audience instead of buyers? That’s Marketing → Contacts, a separate list.
