Managing an order
Open an order from Orders → All orders. The order page has two columns: the items, payment, invoicing, and timeline on the left; the customer, shipping address, and details on the right. The action buttons are in the top-right header.
Errors stay on the page. If an action can’t be completed, a red “Error:” banner appears at the top with the reason — the page doesn’t disappear. Dismiss it with the × and try again.
Confirm an order
A brand-new online order often arrives as a quotation. Confirming it is what turns it into a real order — it creates the delivery, the invoice (if your market invoices), and the customer email.
- Open the order. If you see the Confirm button (top-right), the order is still a quotation.
- Choose Confirm.
- In “Confirm this order?”, choose Confirm order.
If an order shows as Paid but still says not confirmed, the money arrived but nothing will ship until you Confirm it.
Mark an order delivered
Once an order is Confirmed, a blue “Ready to ship.” banner appears.
- Pack the order, then choose Mark delivered.
- In “Mark this order delivered?”, choose Mark delivered.
This marks the outgoing transfer as delivered and takes the items out of stock. If a delivery needs a backorder decision, finish it in the commerce backend.
You can also deliver several at once from the list — select orders and choose Mark {n} as delivered.
Edit an order after purchase
You can make small corrections while the order hasn’t been invoiced or cancelled.
Remove an item
- In the Items card, choose the trash icon on the line.
- In “Take this item off the order?”, choose Remove.
This drops the total and refunds that item in the same step. Once an order is invoiced, lines are locked — reverse it with a credit note instead.
Correct the shipping address
- On the Shipping address card, choose Edit.
- Update Full name, Address, Apartment, suite (optional), City, ZIP / postcode, or Phone. (Country/region isn’t editable — that’s a move, not a typo.)
- Choose Save address.
Add an internal note
In the Timeline card, type in Internal note and choose Add note. Only your team sees it — the customer isn’t emailed or notified.
Choose Print (top-right) at any time for a printable copy.
Cancel an order
Choose Cancel order (top-right). It’s available until the order is delivered or already cancelled.
- If money was taken through a provider, the dialog is “Cancel order and refund {money}?” — the refund is attempted first; if any refund fails, the order is left untouched. Choose Cancel and refund.
- If no provider payment was taken, it’s “Cancel this order?” — choose Cancel order.
- Payments made outside the storefront (manual/offline) can’t be refunded from here; the dialog lists them so you can return that money in the provider’s own dashboard.
