Edit a product
Open it: Products, then click any product row.
Editing uses the same fields as creating one, so every field means the same thing. The differences:
- Changes are live as you type. A save bar appears at the bottom only when something changed — it reads how many unsaved changes there are and what they touch, with Discard and Save. If a field is invalid you’ll see “Fix the highlighted fields before saving.”
- The reference isn’t required (an existing code isn’t a collision).
The product opens on four tabs:
- General — the core details (name, pricing, descriptions), Photos, Options and Variants, plus the right-hand Storefront card (Published / Draft, Availability, Badge, Tags), Margin, and SEO.
- Advanced — Logistics; related/upsell products; and Pricing by market, an optional per-market price override (use only if a market needs a different price).
- Inventory — a per-location stock grid (shown for multi-location brands). Stock changes are recorded with full history. Single-location brands edit stock on each variant in the Variants tab instead.
- Translations — per-language name, storefront description, and out-of-stock message. Each language is saved on its own.
Changing a product’s options will regenerate its variants; SKUs/barcodes tied to removed variants are lost (you’re warned before saving).
Archive instead of delete
Choose Archive to set a product inactive and hide it from the storefront (confirm in the dialog). Archived products show an Archived badge and can be Restored later.
